- As directed, supports and assists the lodge adviser in carrying out the operations of the lodge.
- Assumes other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
- Promotes participation in section, region, and national OA and Scouting events.
- Interprets OA policy in consultation with the lodge adviser.
- Serves as an example of the ideals of the BSA and the Order of the Arrow.
- Attends meetings as directed by the lodge adviser.
- Functions as an adviser to the youth members.
